What are Verb Forms?

In English, verbs change their form based on the time (Tense) of the action.

• V1 (Base): Used for habits (Present Indefinite).

• V2 (Past): Used for past actions (Past Indefinite).

• V3 (Participle): Used for completed actions (Perfect Tenses).

Regular vs. Irregular Verbs

Many students get confused about why some verbs end in -ed and others change completely.

1. Regular Verbs: These are easy. Just add -ed.

2. Irregular Verbs: These are the ones you must memorize because they change their spelling.
