What is Future Continuous Tense?

The Future Continuous Tense expresses an action that will be ongoing at a specific time in the future. It shows that something will be happening at a certain point in future.

भविष्य लगातार क्रिया काल (Future Continuous Tense) उस क्रिया को दर्शाता है जो भविष्य में किसी समय जारी रहेगी या हो रही होगी।

A) Affirmative (Positive) Sentences

Subject + will + be + verb(-ing) + object

Examples:

1. I will be studying at 5 PM tomorrow.
   मैं कल शाम 5 बजे पढ़ाई कर रहा/रही होगा।

2. She will be cooking dinner at 8 PM.
   वह रात 8 बजे खाना बना रही होगी।

B) Negative Sentences

Subject + will + not + be + verb(-ing) + object

Examples:

1. I will not be watching TV at 10 PM.
   मैं रात 10 बजे टीवी नहीं देख रहा/रही होगा।

2. They will not be playing cricket tomorrow.
   वे कल क्रिकेट नहीं खेल रहे होंगे।

C) Interrogative (Question) Sentences

Wh + Will + subject + be + verb(-ing) + object?

Examples:

1. Will you be attending the meeting tomorrow?
   क्या आप कल मीटिंग में शामिल होंगे?

2. Shall we be going to the market at 4 PM?
   क्या हम शाम 4 बजे बाजार जा रहे होंगे?

D) Negative-Interrogative Sentences

Wh + Will + subject + not + be + verb(-ing) + object?

1. Will he not be coming to the party?

2. Shall we not be finishing the work on time?

Interrogative (प्रश्नवाचक वाक्य)

2. Future Continuous Tense - Negative 

1. I will not be studying English tomorrow evening.
   मैं कल शाम अंग्रेज़ी नहीं पढ़ रहा/रही होऊँगा/हूँगी।

2. She will not be cooking food at 7 PM.
   वह शाम 7 बजे खाना नहीं बना रही होगी।

3. They will not be playing cricket in the ground.

4. Future Continuous Tense - Negative Interrogative

USE 1: Action that will be in progress at a specific time in the future

Examples:

1. I will be studying at 8 pm.
   मैं शाम 8 बजे पढ़ रहा/रही होऊँगा/हूँगी।

2. She will be cooking dinner tonight.
   वह आज रात खाना बना रही होगी।

3. They will be watching TV at that time.
   वे उस समय टीवी देख रहे होंगे।

4. We will be traveling tomorrow morning.
   हम कल सुबह यात्रा कर रहे होंगे।

5. He will be sleeping at midnight.
   वह आधी रात को सो रहा होगा।

USE 2: To talk about a future action that will continue for some time

Examples:

1. I will be working all day tomorrow.
   मैं कल पूरा दिन काम करता रहूँगा।

2. She will be preparing for exams next week.
   वह अगले हफ्ते परीक्षाओं की तैयारी कर रही होगी।

3. We will be waiting for you in the evening.

4. He will be practicing English daily.

5. They will be building the house this year.
   वे इस साल घर बना रहे होंगे।

USE 3: For planned or decided future actions (polite / neutral plans)
