What is Present Tense?

Present Tense is used to describe actions, habits, facts, or situations that happen now, regularly, or are generally true.

Types of Present Tense
There are FOUR types of Present Tense:
1. Present Simple Tense (Present Indefinite)
Definition (English)
Present Simple Tense is used to express daily habits, general truths, fixed routines, and permanent situations.

2. Present Continuous Tense
Definition (English)
Present Continuous Tense is used to describe an action that is happening at the time of speaking or is temporary in nature.

Present Continuous Tense का प्रयोग उस कार्य के लिए किया जाता है जो बोलते समय चल रहा हो या जो अस्थायी रूप से हो रहा हो।
3. Present Perfect Tense
Definition (English)
Present Perfect Tense is used to show an action that has been completed recently, but its effect is still present.
परिभाषा (Hindi)
Present Perfect Tense का प्रयोग उस कार्य के लिए किया जाता है जो हाल ही में पूरा हुआ हो, लेकिन जिसका प्रभाव अभी भी वर्तमान में हो।
4. Present Perfect Continuous Tense
Definition (English)
Present Perfect Continuous Tense is used to describe an action that started in the past and is still continuing in the present.
